Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes how Space Nestor collects, uses and protects your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is:

2. Data collected
When you use the Space Nestor application, we collect the following categories of data:
- Email address: provided when creating your account through Sign In with Apple, used for authentication and communication.
- Approximate location: coordinates of properties you register in the application, used for weather monitoring and alerts.
- User identifier: a unique identifier generated to manage your account and data.
- Purchase history: information about subscriptions and in-app purchases, used for account management.
- Product interactions: anonymized usage data collected through Firebase Analytics to improve the application.
3. Purposes of processing
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Application operation: managing your account, displaying properties, monitoring and alerts.
- Weather alerts: sending push notifications when weather warnings affect your properties.
- Subscription management: tracking your subscription tier and associated features.
- Service improvement: anonymized usage analysis to improve the user experience.
4. Legal basis
Data processing is based on:
- Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when registering for the application.
- Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), necessary to provide the services you have subscribed to.
5. Retention period
Your personal data is retained for the lifetime of your account. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
6. Your rights
In accordance with Articles 15 to 20 GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access: obtain a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: request deletion of your data.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to processing in certain circumstances.
- Restriction: request restriction of the processing of your data.
7. Exercising your rights
You can exercise your rights in two ways:
- From Settings in the Space Nestor application.
- By emailing contact@snestor.eu.
We undertake to respond to your request within one month.
8. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate the application:
- Firebase / Google Cloud (Ireland, EU): data hosting, authentication, push notifications and analytics.
- Apple: payment and subscription management through the App Store.
- Météo-France: weather warning data for alerts.
These services are subject to their own privacy policies. Data hosted on Firebase is stored in the europe-west1 region (Belgium, EU) to ensure GDPR compliance.
9. Transfers outside the EU
Your data is primarily hosted in the European Union (Google Cloud europe-west1 region). Any transfer outside the EU is governed by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
10. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, and strict Firestore security rules limiting access to data.
11. Complaints to the CNIL
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.
12. Changes
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. Any substantial change will be notified through the application. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
